
"Finally: an end to online board meetings and the start of sports operations are in prospect thanks to falling corona incidence numbers", chairman willy willeke of the TV/DJK board of directors was delighted. The board has met eight times since november via video link to discuss the association’s affairs. "During the lockdown, we changed the lighting in the clubhouse to LED, painted the walls, cleared out the archive and the garage, brought the IT up to standard and, by the way, paid off the remaining debts for the construction of the clubhouse in order to save interest", explains treasurer susanne moldner.
Halls in the city open
Managing director katja benner kept in touch with the members and the bavarian state sports association and was concerned, among other things, about the tuv safety of the sports equipment: "we can restart the sports operations overnight."
